Well, read my blog... if you have any question, please ask. I tried to be a bit reserved on the blog, but the case was a lot worse than even I lay it out to be. There are some dots I can't connect at this point with the two inmates that come forward four days before the trial started, both with the same therory the prosecution had, and there are other issues, but at a certain point I leave well enough alone so as not so sound like a guy in a bomb shelter...

I guess I have no Soul then. As I feel that having someone swing for either murder or Treason are worthwhile social policy. That is if we did not have such "lets not punish anyone" powers that be.

I couldn't agree more on the lengthy contracts. Dollars-wise, the VM iPhone is a little better than contract phones over the life of the standard contract.

However, for many part of the U.S., the VM network is so God-awful, that the phone becomes useless unless wifi is available.

You mentioned Louisville, which isn't exactly a major metropolitan area. I've heard many people praise VM. They were almost always living in areas where the network is much less likely to be crowded.

Personally, I've tried a Virgin Android phone in Washington D.C., Miami, Kansas City, and LA/Orange County, plus everywhere in between while driving. Data speeds were intolerable in most of those places, and just okay in the countryside.

Do yourself a favor if the iPhone is your preferred device. Buy a used or refurbed iPhone 4s (for less than Virgin is charging for their device) and go with Straight Talk's $45 plan. It's unlimited everything and runs on the AT&T network, meaning the 4S will not only have better 3G speeds, but it will also be capable of so-called 3.5 or 4G HSPA+ (what T-Mobile calls 4G).

I've had good luck with Virgin Mobile...decent 3G speeds here in Louisville. What is crazy is signing two year contracts with Verizon for an iPohne for $100+ a month.
